The 2027 Diann Woodard AFSA Scholarship application and guidelines are now available!
AFSA encourages graduating high school seniors who are children of AFSA members and plan to begin college in 2027 to apply for this valuable educational opportunity. The scholarship program helps students take the next step toward achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals by providing financial assistance to help pay for college.
Five outstanding high school seniors will each receive a one-time $4,500 scholarship to help cover college tuition expenses. With the rising cost of higher education, this financial support can make a meaningful difference for students and their families as they prepare for the transition to college and work toward a brighter future.
The scholarship is made possible through the combined support of AFSA and M3 Technology, reflecting a shared commitment to investing in education and the next generation of leaders. AFSA will contribute $2,500 toward each scholarship, while M3 Technology will provide an additional $2,000 per recipient, bringing the total award to $4,500 per student.
Paying for college can be a significant challenge for many families. Through the Diann Woodard AFSA Scholarship, AFSA is proud to help ease some of that financial burden and make higher education more accessible to deserving students. The AFSA General Executive Board will select five scholarship recipients based on academic excellence, a passion for volunteerism, and a demonstrated strong work ethic.
